Uncompromising Quality

Being strictly committed to high quality standards, SAHLBERG has a Total Quality Management (TQM) on the basis of quality management certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 in place. This allows us to ensure continuing high standards of performance and provides a maximum of documentation and traceability. This is documented by several customer audits in respect of well-known companies which were successfully completed and an annual A-supplier-status confirmed by many national and international corporate groups.

We are certified in accordance with the German Water Resources Act (Wasserhaushaltsgesetz, or WHG § 19). In addition, Sahlberg continuously implements all EU directives concerning bans on substances and material avoidance (Directive on Scrap Cars and Vans, RoHS, REACH etc.) and ensures compliance with them.

A comprehensive error analysis is an integral part of SAHLBERG’s quality management systems. This does not only consider customer complaints, but also all internally identified and corrected errors. As part of a continuing improvement process (CIP), preventive measures shall be prepared and implemented within inter-divisional quality circles. Customer and employee satisfaction will be measured on a regular basis.

SAHLBERG may examine and document all important physical characteristics of plastics and elastomers in its own measuring facility. These facilities are used for material selection and tests within the development process as well as for continuing quality assurance. If required, cooperation with external testing institutes takes place.
